How do I know the jewelry is authentic?

All of our jewelry is created with 100% genuine diamonds, pearls, precious and semi-precious gems set in real gold or silver, unless the description states otherwise. Each piece of jewelry comes with an appraisal certificate from a certified gemological laboratory.

How much do I pay up front for my rental?

We’ll charge your credit card with the rental fee plus any applicable sales taxes and shipping costs when you place your reservation. On the day your jewelry is shipped to you, we’ll put a security hold on your credit card of up to 33% of the jewelry’s Sale Price. This hold helps protect us against loss, damage or theft of the jewelry. The hold will be released immediately after we receive and inspect the returned jewelry.

What about shipping?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the item(s) you order and on your place of delivery. Just make sure someone reliable is at your shipping address to sign for the package. Because the items are of high value, the shipping agent will not leave them at your address without a signature, and if the items are returned to us for non-delivery, we will still have to charge you the full rental amount. With your jewelry rentals, we will send you pre-completed return shipping documentation, so you simply have to drop the package off with the designated shipper.

When do I get my jewelry?

You will have your rental jewelry 1-2 days in advance of your event date. If you want your jewelry earlier, call us, we’ll work something out. Your jewelry purchases will ship out within 2 business days of your order, unless we have notified you that your item is on back order.

How do I return the jewelry I rent?

Please follow the instruction sheet that we send along with your jewelry to help you get the jewelry back to us safely and securely. We’ll send you the boxes and paperwork you need to send everything back. Just re-package everything carefully into the original jewelry boxes, place them inside the return box provided to you, and simply drop the sealed package off along with the pre-filled label at the designated shipping agent’s drop location. We pre-pay the return shipping and insurance.

What if I need to cancel my rental?

We have reserved your jewelry especially for you and have made them unavailable to our other clients. You can cancel your reservation at any time up until the point when the jewelry leaves our facility, but we will not be able to refund you your entire deposit. If you choose to cancel your rental up to 30 days before your scheduled event date, we will not charge you for the cancellation. If you cancel between 15 and 29 days before your scheduled event date, we will charge you 35% of the total rental fee. If you cancel between 14 days and the date we ship the jewelry, we will only refund you the shipping and insurance portion of the total rental fee.

How do I decide?

Our descriptions are as accurate as possible, and we will try to give you as much information as we can to help you visualize and understand the jewelry. We send our jewelry to professional photographers so that our photos are as accurate and true to life as possible, especially in terms of color and size. Our customers tell us that our jewelry is even more beautiful than they imagined from the photos.

If you still can’t decide, call or email us. We have been helping our clients pick the best jewelry for their special occasions for over 20 years. You can even send us pictures of your outfit or yourself, and we’ll help you select the right look for you.

Please take advantage of our option of letting you pick a second or third choice. If your first choice isn’t available for your dates, we’ll check on your other choices and let you know right away.

We also recommend that you choose pieces for your bridal party or other family members while you are selecting your own.

What if my jewelry isn’t available?

Call us, we may be able to work something out. If not, we’ll help you find or create something similar.

When do I have to return the jewelry rental? What if I’m late?

You must send the jewelry back to us the next business day after your scheduled event date. So if your scheduled event date is Saturday or Sunday, you must give the package to the designated shipping agent by Monday.

If you ship the jewelry late, you will be charged late fees. If you ship the jewelry one to two days late, we will charge you 10% of your total rental order as a late fee. If you ship the jewelry three or more days late, we will charge you at least 80% and up to 190% of your total rental order as a late fee.

Can I buy the jewelry?

Yes! Many of our pieces are available for sale as well as rent. If you don’t see a BUY button next to the item you want, call us, we’ll be happy to special order it for you.

If you’ve fallen in love with the jewelry you’ve rented from us, you may be able to keep it! Call us by your return date; and if we authorize the sale, we will charge you the sale price of the item and we’ll even deduct the rental charges.

If I buy jewelry and don’t like it, can I return it?

57 Facets knows that you will love the jewelry you choose on our website. If you receive an item you purchased and decide that it’s just not right for you, send it back to us within 3 days of the delivery date with all security tags in place. We will not accept any jewelry returns if the tags have been removed. You are responsible for shipping the item back to us, please follow the instructions on the documentation sent with your purchase to avoid any liabilities. Return shipping fees, including insurance, are not refundable.

We may also need to repair or clean the returned jewelry and we will need to charge you for that. You can expect a refund within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Refunds will be credited to the same form of payment used for your original purchase.
